Manufacturing and Machine Tool Technology
Over the past several years, rapid technological advances in industry have resulted from the increasing application of automation in manufacturing. These advances have also created high tech jobs in this career field. The aging of the workforce coupled with the technical nature of the work has created a shortage of skilled machinists (manual and CNC). The Manufacturing and Machine Tool Technology program provides our graduates with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully compete in this expanding job market. We give students a solid foundation in machining, and our low student\teacher ratio allows them to advance at their own pace.
The college is a Haas Technical Education Center (HTEC) and an Authorized Training Center (ATC) for FeatureCAM (CAD/CAM) software. Additionally, students have the opportunity to receive training in Solidworks (3D modeling software).
