Advising for English Majors
The division offers advising services for students who are pursuing an Associate of Arts degree and are interested in eventually majoring in one of the following fields of study:
- English
- Speech Communication
- Journalism
- Foreign Language
- Visual Art
- Music
- Theatre
- Philosophy
The division offers advising resources and sessions for these students. These students are encouraged to make an appointment with the division advisor. The division advisor can help the student with the following advising goals:
- Set academic goals
- Select courses best suited for specific academic goals
- Plan out schedules
- Provide helpful transfer information
