The Business Division offers programs in Accounting, Office Supervision & Management, Office Technology, Paralegal Technology and Medical Transcription.
The division is committed to excellence in helping students acquire the skills and knowledge needed for today's challenging careers in business and technology.
The Associate of Applied Science in Business prepares students for positions in the career fields of Accounting, Office Technology, and Paralegal Technology. Certificate options provide for quick entry into Accounting, Legal Secretarial and Office Technology careers. The emphasis in Office Technology is designed to give the students the necessary background knowledge and skills to utilize the technologies needed by secretaries and administrative assistants in today's offices.

Associate of Applied Science degree: The Associate of Applied Science degree is awarded to students completing the requirements of one of the career programs that contain a minimum of 62 semester hours. Although this is not intended to be a transfer degree, many of the required courses will transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Transfer information is available from the Director of Admissions and Records.

Technical Certificate: Technical certificate programs provide a short concentration in a specific technical area. These programs are intended for students who plan to enter the workforce after completion of the program or who are currently working and want to upgrade their skills. Hours earned in some certificate programs are acceptable toward associate degree programs.
