Baptist Health College Little Rock

Pulaski Tech and Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR) have built strong partnerships to offer students unique and fulfilling education experiences in health care.

Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health

Students graduating from one of three qualified BHCLR technical certificate programs can complete an additional 19 hours of general education coursework with PTC to earn an AAS in Allied Health. These programs are:

Students can have the general education courses completed at any time before or after the program. If transferring credit to PTC, students must meet the 15 credit hour residency requirement to be awarded a degree, so you may have to register for elective credit.

BHCLR School of Nursing and School of Practical Nursing

In addition to offering this degree completer, PTC offers classes on the BHCLR campus for nursing students who are enrolled there. Day, evening, and online/hybrid sections are available.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

The School of Occupational Therapy Assistant is a unique partnership between PTC and BHCLR. Admissions, coursework, and clinical experiences are completed through BHCLR. At the completion of the program, PTC awards an Associate of Applied Science degree. For more information, please visit our Occupational Therapy Assistant page.

Current BHCLR Student Information

Only current BHCLR students are permitted to take PTC courses on the BHCLR campus. Once accepted into a program of study at BHCLR, you will participate in an orientation day. A representative from PTC will be on-hand to walk you through admissions, registration, and financial information. At the end of the semester, PTC transcripts will be automatically transferred to BHCLR.

Nursing students enrolled at BHCLR are not eligible for financial aid from PTC. Payment for PTC tuition/fees will be due before the start of the semester. Nelnet payment plan is available. Students receiving financial aid from BHCLR may receive a disbursement check from BHCLR which will serve as a reimbursement for PTC expenses.
