Childcare/Little Learners Academy
The mission of the Little Learners Academy is to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development in a safe and healthy learning environment for the children entrusted to our care and to provide access to high quality experiential learning opportunities for our Early Childhood Development students that allow them to develop to their fullest potential.
The Little Learners Academy serves Pulaski Technical College employees and students and Veterans Administration employees.
Hours of Operation
Little Learners Academy is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The center follows the calendar established by Pulaski Technical College.
Little Learners Academy is located at 1500 West Pershing Boulevard as you come up the hill to Pulaski Tech.
To learn how the Little Learners Academy can meet your child care needs, please call (501) 753-0357. To put your child on the waiting list, please fill out the Child Data Form (PDF) or come by the school. You may drop the form off to the lab school or mail it in. Children are kept on the waiting list for a maximum of 90 days. Once a spot is available, we will contact you by phone. Please note the preferred contact person and number, as well as if you are a PTC student, PTC staff/faculty, or VA employee.
Parents or guardians interested in enrolling their children should bring their child's immunization record to the lab school. A tour will be given by a lab school employee and other enrollment forms will be available for completion. It may be necessary for children to be placed on a waiting list until the lab school has a space available.
Tuition for infants is $135 per week. Toddlers are $130 and preschoolers are $120 per week. The lab school participates in the DHS voucher program for Pulaski Technical College students and the FEEA program for VA employees.
USDA Food Program
Pulaski Technical College announces its sponsorship of the USDA Food Program. Meals will be available at no separate charge or at a reduced charge to enrolled persons at Pulaski Technical College’s Lab School, Little Learners Academy.
