Eligibility
TRIO Scholars (Student Support Services) has such wonderful services to offer its participants, most students will want to apply to the program! To apply, you can visit the PTC TRIO Scholars office and complete an application, or an application may be obtained by using the hyperlink below. Because TRIO Scholars is a federally funded program, and there are a limited number of participants who can be served, an applicant must meet the following qualification criteria:
Have an Academic Need, as Indicated by:
_____ High School or College GPA
_____ High School Equivalency (GED)
_____ Time Out of the Academic Pipeline
_____ Academic Standing
_____ Test Results
_____ Other Predictive Indicators
_____ Other Need for Services:
_____ Tutoring
_____ Math, Writing, or Science Labs
_____ Disability Services
_____ Developmental Coursework
_____ Academic Planning/Course Selection
_____ Transfer Assistance
And meet one or more of the following:
- First Generation College Student – Parent(s)/Guardian(s) did Not Graduate With a 4-Year Degree.
- Meet Federal Income Eligibility Requirements and/or
- Have a Documented Disability.
