Golfers invited to Aug. 30 scholarship tournament8/16/2010
The Pulaski Technical College Foundation's Third Annual PG and Melanie Bradford Scholarship Endowment Golf Tournament gets underway Monday, Aug. 30, at the Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle.
Shotgun starts are at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Teams of four will compete for first, second and third place prizes in each round. Closest to the hole, longest drive, hole in one and casino holes will also keep players on their toes. Players are treated to lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse, goodie bags and beverages.
The registration fee is $400 for a four-person team. Register HERE.
Hole-in-one prizes include a new 2010 Volkswagen provided by North Point Volkswagen and $10,000 provided by Jones and Son Bridal and Fine Jewelry.
Take a chance at winning $1,000 in the first Pulaski Technical College Foundation's ball drop! Golf balls may be purchased for $10. The golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter, and the first ball to get in the hole or the ball closet to the hole determines the $1,000 winner.
The PG and Melanie Bradford Scholarship Endowment was created last year and is named in honor of the late P.G. Bradford, who worked at Pulaski Technical College. The PG and Melanie Bradford Golf Tournament is presented by Pulaski Technical College Foundation. Funds raised from the event support the college and its PG and Melanie Bradford Scholarship Endowment.
