Innovation, the quarterly newsletter of Pulaski Technical College, and www.pulaskitech.edu, the college's Web site, have been named best community college newsletter and Web site in the region by District IV of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges.

Pulaski Tech received gold Medallion Awards for newsletter and Web site at NCMPR District IV's annual awards ceremony Oct. 25 in Colorado Springs. Carol Langston, vice president for college advancement, is editor of Innovation and the college Web site. Amy Bonds is graphic designer. Lennon Parker is Web support specialist.

In addition to the gold awards, Pulaski Tech received silver Medallion Awards for the 2004-05 academic catalog, an electronic viewbook for the Business and Industry Center, the Rock Enroll promotional t-shirt and a promotional recruitment brochure. Bronze Medallion Awards included logo design for "Heat in the Street 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament" and the "Rock Enroll" advertising campaign.

NCMPR is a professional organization for individuals involved in marketing, communications and public relations at community colleges. The Medallion Awards competition is designed to recognize and reward professional excellence in two-year college marketing and public relations. District IV includes colleges in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming.
