Pulaski Technical College will host an information fair on Tuesday for people interested in learning about educational opportunities and careers in the paralegal profession.
The fair will take place 12-1 p.m. April 22 in the Campus Center Grand Hall (Side B) on the college's main campus.
Admission is free, and lunch will be provided.
Attendees will learn about job opportunities in the legal field, scholarships and other benefits available from paralegal professional associations and admission requirements to Pulaski Tech's paralegal program.
Pulaski Tech offers an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Technology. The two-year program prepares students for legal work by helping them gain an understanding of the law as well as develop practical skills in research, investigation, document preparation and writing.
"The program is designed to be very flexible to accommodate the schedules of our working students," said Cathy Underwood, director of Pulaski Tech's paralegal technology program. "Students have the option of attending classes in a traditional classroom setting, online, or in real-time webinar format, which combines the convenience of having an online class with the benefit of a real-time instructor."
