PTC Foundation to host Business of Art 20093/5/2009
The Pulaski Technical College Foundation will host its third annual Business of Art event on Thursday, April 9 to raise scholarship funds for Pulaski Technical College students.
The event includes a reception, silent auction and art exposition. The honoree is well-known local illustrator, painter and sculptor John Deering. He is perhaps most recognized as cartoonist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and for his sculptures on the Arkansas State Capitol grounds, including those of the "Little Rock Nine."
The event will take place 6:30-9 p.m. in the Pulaski Technical College Campus Center Grand Hall. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online by clicking here or by calling (501) 812-2271.
Proceeds from Business of Art provide scholarships for students majoring in Business or pursing a career in Fine Arts.
