Nearly 40 faculty, staff and students will represent Pulaski Technical College this year in the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday to raise money for breast cancer research.
 
The 5K run/walk begins at 8 a.m. at Broadway and Second Street in downtown Little Rock.  PTC team members will meet for photographs at 7:30 a.m. on steps of Robinson Center on Markham Street before the race
 
Anyone interested in joining the team can still do so by registering online at www.komenarkansas.org. The team name is "Pulaski Technical College," and the registration password is "ptc2008."
 
After Wednesday, walkers can register in person at the Race Space, located in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center on Cantrell Road in west Little Rock. The hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday.
 
The registration tent at the race will open at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.
