The Arkansas Arts Council in collaboration with The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is launching the art exhibition, which will visit as many as 11 venues throughout the state.
The exhibit opens Sept. 5 at Pulaski Tech and continues through Oct. 24. Admission is free. The library is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A public reception will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Ottenheimer Library.
Small Works on Paper: Retro Works is comprised of 30 pieces of art created between 1989 and 1997. All the pieces were purchased with grants from the International Paper Company Foundation and donated to The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas. All the artists were Arkansas residents at the time their work was submitted.
