Pulaski Tech faculty and staff will usher in the fall semester on Monday with convocation beginning at 9 a.m. in the Campus Center on the main campus.
Dr. Dan F. Bakke will make some important announcements and give a special welcome to new full-time faculty and staff. Dr. Nancy S. King, executive assistant for strategic initiatives at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, will give the keynote address. Dr. King is a national consultant in the field of student advising, which is the focus for this year's Convocation and week of professional development workshops.
Workshops will be offered throughout the week on a variety of topics, including technology, online learning, course redesign, learning styles, student discipline and dealing with students with disabilities and other topics.
