Pulaski Tech's Veterans Upward Bound office is serving as a drop-off location this year for Operation Homefront, which collects school supplies for needy military children.
Donations will be accepted through Aug. 9 and then distributed to needy military children in the area.
Items needed include backpacks of all sizes (clear or mesh preferred), spiral notebooks, pens and pencils, erasers, markers, crayons, colored pencils, notebooks and notebook paper, rulers and calculators. Volunteers can also sponsor a child for $35.
