Dollars & Sense workshop to offer tips on managing money1/10/2008
Pulaski Technical College students can take still take advantage of the second of two personal finance seminars being offered this month to help students become more financially savvy.
The final session will take place at noon on Monday, Jan. 28 in the R.J. Wills Lecture Hall on the second floor of the Campus Center. Pizza and soft drinks will be served.
Augusta Farver, dean of business, and Terry Mercing, accounting instructor, will lead the seminars and share information about debt control, loans, credit cards responsibility and wise use of loan money.
Dean of Business Augusta Farver described the first session as "jam-packed with eager students," and added that "this was a good first step in helping students understand the importance of personal finance."
The sessions are free, and registration is not required.
