Pulaski Tech sets training for emergency personnel10/8/2003
Pulaski Technical College and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) will offer a free "Airbags and Alternative Fuels" training seminar Friday, Oct. 24, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Ken Leslie, collision repair technology program coordinator, said the seminar is designed for first responders and emergency personnel in Arkansas, including volunteer firefighters. Continuing education certificates will be awarded to participants.
The seminar will cover airbags and other restraints, alternative fuels, extrication safety and vehicle construction. Future trends and future vehicle accessories also will be discussed. I-CAR instructor is Todd Hoffman.
The seminar will be located in the U.S. Bank Community Room on the first floor of the college's Information Technology Center, 3000 West Scenic Drive, North Little Rock.
