High school graduates can get a headstart on landing a job in the aviation industry through a free nine-week Summer Aircraft Manufacturing course being offered to 2007 high school graduates interested in careers in aircraft completion.
Pulaski Technical College is offering the course in conjunction with the Arkansas Aerospace Alliance and Metropolitan Career and Technical Center.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, June 7. There is no course fee.
Classes will meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 18 to August 16 at the Pulaski Technical College Business and Industry Center, located at 3303 East Roosevelt Road in Little Rock. Little Rock has two major completion centers for corporate jets, and central Arkansas companies are currently seeking entry-level aircraft completion technicians.
