Pulaski Technical College received a serious threat of a potentially violent incident on campus.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, the North Little Rock Police Department received a phone call from an unidentified caller stating that he witnessed a conversation between two men who indicated that there would be an incident similar to the incident at Virginia Tech on the Pulaski Technical College campus on Thursday, May 3.
In order to ensure the safety of all students, faculty, staff and campus visitors, all locations of Pulaski Technical College were closed Thursday and all classes were canceled.
The North Little Rock Police Department is working with other area law enforcement agencies in an ongoing investigation. No further developments related to the investigation have been announced as of Friday morning.
All campuses are open Friday, May 4. To ensure the continued safety of all students, employees and visitors, heightened security measures are in effect.
