Students wishing to be considered for the Academic All-Star Scholarship need to have their completed applications turned in to the Financial Aid office by May 11.
The Academic All-Star Scholarship recognizes great students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and superior service to Pulaski Technical College and the community.
To be eligible, students MUST meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled at Pulaski Tech and expect to be enrolled at PTC through spring 2008
- Must have completed at least 24 credit hours in pursuit of an Associate degree by the end of spring 2007
- Must currently post a cumulative grade-point average of not less than 3.25 in all credit coursework taken at PTC.
The recipient of the Academic All-Star Scholarship will receive a full-time tuition waiver for up to two years at Pulaski Technical College. The tuition waiver will be contingent upon the student's continued academic success and maintenance of a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average. Many Academic All-Star Scholarship recipients also receive additional scholarship money from four-year institutions once they decide to transfer.
The Academic All-Star Selection Committee will choose one outstanding student to receive the Academic All-Star Scholarship from all qualifying applicants who apply by May 11.
Application packets are available in the Student Services Office (room 212, Campus Center).
Completed applications should be returned to the Financial Aid Office. A completed packet will consist of official college transcript, application questionnaire and release authorization, two letters of recommendation, and the typewritten essay.
Incomplete application packets will not be accepted.
