The Pulaski Technical College Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. on
Monday, Jan. 9, in the Campus Center Grand Hall, located on the college's main
campus at 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock.
The Finance and Academic Affairs committees will meet first followed by full board.
The board's main agenda is to review proposed new certificate offerings, which will be stackable credentials within existing programs.
New proposals include the following:
- Technical Certificate in Applied Electronics
- Certificate of Proficiency in Applied Electronics
- Certificate of Proficiency in Machine Shop
- Certificate of Proficiency in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
The Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems (End-User
Support Option) will be deleted.
Other items to be discussed include review of the FY15 Legislative Audit Report and reports from Student Services, Human Resources, Pulaski Technical College Foundation, Public Relations and Marketing, Continuing Education, Technology, and Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness.
The full board meeting will begin with a public comment session limited to three minutes per person and 15 minutes total.
