Commencement is May 185/15/2006
Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough, president of Philander Smith College, will deliver the keynote address at Pulaski Technical College's commencement ceremony Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at Alltel Arena.
Cindy Harkey, vice president for student services, said 955 students are expected to receive associate degrees, technical certificates and certificates of proficiency in more than 40 fields of study.
Honor cords will be presented to graduates with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or better, Harkey said.
In its first year, the Pulaski Technical College Choir, under the direction of Dr. Milton Lites, will present special music during the ceremony. The North Little Rock High School--West Campus band will perform, and the NLRHS--East Campus Junior ROTC will present the colors.
