Pulaski Tech is recruiting students to participate in two-day internships at
the UAMS College for Health Professions.
Students interested in careers in ultrasound, radiography, respiratory therapy, paramedic/EMT, ophthalmic technology, medical technology and surgical technology are encouraged to apply by Sept. 30.
The first internship session will take place Oct. 13-14, and the second session will take place Oct. 22-23. Sessions run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily at UAMS. Ten students will be selected for each session. Participants will rotate through the various health programs, meet UAMS students and faculty, and get valuable hands-on skills.
Applications will be available outside Dr. Martha Eshleman's office (SCIB 120), in the Division of Math and Science office ( SCIB 115), and in Ottenheimer Library. Applications also will be posted on bulletins boards on the Main campus.
