The Pulaski Technical College Bookstore on the Main campus at 3000 West
Scenic Drive in North Little Rock and the Little Rock-South site Bookstore at
13000 I-30 in Little Rock will be open 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 so
students may take advantage of the Arkansas 2014 Sales Tax Holiday. Students
will be able to charge against accepted financial aid that is in excess of their
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 2, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, the State of Arkansas will allow shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, school art supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.
All retailers are required to participate and may not charge tax on items that are legally tax-exempt during the Sales Tax Holiday. Online sales made from Arkansas are included in the Sales Tax Holiday.
The PTC Bookstore on the Main campus and at the Little Rock-South site are operated by Follett as a service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Textbooks, supplies and other items are available. The website for online purchases is www.pulaskitcshop.com.
The bookstore accepts cash, checks, and American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa for books and merchandise. Refund policies are provided at the time of purchase.
