Pulaski Technical College will sponsor a job fair for students and the general public on Wednesday, April 5, in the student center of the administration building on the college's main campus at 3000 West Scenic Drive, North Little Rock. The fair will open at 10:30 a.m. and will continue until 1:30 p.m.
Dianne Butler, career services counselor, said the event will offer job seekers an opportunity to meet face‑to‑face with area employers and to interact on a wide variety of career opportunities.
It also allows both the employer and the prospective employee to pre‑screen each other to ensure a good employment fit, Butler said.
The Pulaski Technical College Office of Counseling, Advisement and Testing Services organizes the whole event, from seeking the employers to doing the follow up after the fair.
The career fair is open to any employer interested in attending and possibly recruiting, Butler said. Numerous opportunities for both part-time and full-time employment will be available to participants.
In addition to the career fair, the Office of Counseling, Advisement and Testing Services provides a wide variety of career development services, including resume writing assistance, career exploration, placement assistance and on-campus interviewing.
