Fire alarms and other fire safety equipment on the Main Pulaski Tech campus will undergo testing and maintenance beginning Saturday, Aug. 24, at 7:30 a.m. All college students, employees and visitors are advised that this is a test and not an actual emergency.
Alarms, bells, strobes, and other equipment will be activated in the Administration Building, the B Building and Building C, also known as the Industrial Technology Building, in that order. Any necessary repairs will be made during the course of the tests. This may lengthen the duration of the tests.
PTC Public Safety officers will be on hand if questions should arise regarding the validity of the alarms. If you have any questions or concerns, please consult the officer on duty at 501-580-1831.
The college regrets any disruption this may cause, but testing is necessary to ensure public safety. Patience and cooperation is requested.
Systems in all buildings at all locations will undergo testing in the coming weeks. Further testing is scheduled for Sept. 7, 14 and 21.
