New students can register until Aug. 15 for the fall 2013 semester at Pulaski Tech.
First-time college students must apply online and submit all required admissions documents by Aug. 7. Then, students will schedule an appointment with an academic advisor for assistance with course selection and registration before Aug. 15. Transfer and other students will also schedule advising appointments after all required admissions documents have been submitted. Day and evening appointments are available at both the Main campus in North Little Rock and at Little Rock-South.
Classes begin Monday, Aug. 19.
This year, all students who have never attended college are required to meet minimum reading scores on the ACT or COMPASS assessment. Students who do not meet the minimum scores to be admitted will be referred to resources on campus or in the community to improve their skills and be prepared to take the COMPASS again. The college offers an online COMPASS preparation course to any student.
Students must have submitted a signed financial aid award letter, paid in full or established a payment plan by the end of registration on Aug. 15 to secure their registration.
