PTC Bookstore to open for tax holiday8/1/2012
The Pulaski Technical College Bookstore on the Main campus in North Little Rock will be open 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 so students may take advantage of the Arkansas 2012 Sales Tax Holiday.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 4, 2012, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, the State of Arkansas will allow shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain school supplies, school art supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.
All retailers are required to participate and may not charge tax on items that are legally tax-exempt during the Sales Tax Holiday.
The PTC Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Campus Center building at 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock. It is operated by Follett as a service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Textbooks, supplies and other items are available.
The bookstore accepts cash, checks, and American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa for books and merchandise. Refund policies are provided at the time of purchase.
