Pulaski Technical College will host Med Ed.Expo on Friday, Sept. 9, to share information about opportunities in healthcare education .
The expo will take place 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Pulaski Technical College's Campus Center Grand Hall on the main campus, 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock.
Representatives from Pulaski Tech's Allied Health and Human Services Division will be on site along with representatives from Baptist Health Schools Little Rock, St. Vincent Health System and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Admissions and financial aid representatives from Pulaski Tech and Baptist also will be available.
Admission is free and open to the public.
"This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to talk to educators in healthcare professions and to explore their career options," said Dr. Pamela K. Cicirello, dean of Allied Health and Human Services at Pulaski Tech.
The expo will feature more than a dozen programs, including one-year certificates, two-year associate degrees and four-year bachelor degree programs.
Featured programs include anesthesia technology, dental assisting, histotechnology, licensed practical nurse (LPN), medical technology, practical nursing, radiography, nuclear medicine technology, occupational therapy assistant, radiography, registered nursing, respiratory therapy, sleep technology and surgical technology.
