PTC to host Green Camp for middle-school students7/5/2011
Pulaski Technical College's Business and Industry Center is registering middle-school students for a free summer camp being offered July 18-22 at the Business and Industry Center.
Camp will be in session 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily and will include field trips, hands-on lab experiences, snacks and t-shirts.
During the weeklong camp, students will learn about "green" careers in renewable energy, energy efficiency and transportation. Career areas include wind, solar and nuclear energy, residential energy efficiency, building sciences, and careers in alternative fuels including electric automobiles, compressed natural gas and hydrogen-fueled automobiles.
