Division of Academic Success

The Division of Academic Success offers a wide range of programs and courses to meet the needs of new students, education students, and students who need the opportunity to obtain skills necessary to succeed in college-level studies. The division will:

offer students courses that allow them to develop academic skills.
respond to individual learning styles and diverse needs among our student population.
work cooperatively with other college divisions to ensure successful student transition into those programs.

Through these programs and courses, students will demonstrate their ability to:

communicate effectively in written and spoken English
think critically
solve problems
apply analytical skills
appreciate the importance of lifelong learning.
