Information Technology Division
The Pulaski Technical College Information Technology Division offers a variety of educational programs and courses designed to help students develop the skills that lead to careers in information technology. The Information Technology Division also offers a Prometric and Pearson Vue testing center for students, faculty, and staff.
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems prepares students for entry-level employment with options in network support, Web design, programming, and end-user support. The Technical Certificate in Computer Information Systems provides students with basic information technology skills that lead to roles in computer support and serve as building blocks for the development of additional computing skills. The Certificate of Proficiency in Computer Information Systems provides documentation of a student's knowledge in web design, network support, programming or end-user support.

Programs of Study
Associate of Applied Science degree: The Associate of Applied Science degree is awarded to students completing the requirements of one of the career programs that contain a minimum of 62 semester hours. Although this is not intended to be a transfer degree, many of the required courses will transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Transfer information is available from the Director of Admissions and Records.

Associate of Science degree: The Associate of Science degree is awarded to students completing the requirements of the university-transfer program with a minimum of 62 credit hours. The degree parallels the work done in the first two years of a four-year institution and is designed for students planning to seek bachelor's degrees in natural science, mathematics or computer science.
Associate of Science in Computer Science (PDF)
Technical Certificate: Technical certificate programs provide a short concentration in a specific technical area. These programs are intended for students who plan to enter the workforce after completion of the program or who are currently working and want to upgrade their skills. Hours earned in some certificate programs are acceptable toward associate degree programs.
