Associate of Applied Science: Allied Health
University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College offers an Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health with five different options, in partnership with local health care providers. A total of 61-79 credit hours are required, depending upon the option completed. All options have 19 hours of general education coursework to be completed. The remaining hours are completed in the allied health program and related coursework.
Each qualifying allied health program is independently operated and requires separate application and qualifications. No guarantee of selection into an allied health program is made by declaring for the AAS Allied Health degree. Students will not be classified for this degree until meeting the enrollment requirements of the degree. Students are required to earn 15 credit hours with UA-PTC in order to qualify for graduation. (These hours can come from elective credit.) Students are required to meet with the degree advisor each semester for registration.

The following certificate programs are offered at Baptist Health College Little Rock and may be transferred to UA-PTC in order to complete the degree.
The general education requirements are for UA-PTCís degree completer only and not prerequisites for the BHCLR programs.
The UA-PTC Dental Assisting program is a certificate. Graduates of the program may complete the general education courses in the Allied Health program of study to earn a degree.
