|Job Description: ||A development position to support coordination and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising program for building and maintaining relationships among PTC and individuals, corporations, and organizations, with the goal of enabling the College to meet its mission with the support of outside donors.
Fundraising experience and an understanding of the local social, educational and business community is preferred. The ability to communicate effectively and develop and cultivate relationships while engaging prospective college partners is necessary. In addition, the Officer shall manage and assist with other development activities including capital, annual, in-kind and special event campaigns and efforts and any other administrative support activities, solicitations or duties as assigned.
Researches and supports development of fundraising calendar and plan with goal of conducting successful projects that introduce new supporters and maintain support from current donors to the college.
Schedules meetings and presentations to support developing relationships with current and prospective donors.
Establishes and maintains appropriate and necessary contacts to facilitate assigned gift programs.
Responsible for developing and implementing plans to support cultivation and gift prospecting of gifts from individuals.
Supports and implements assigned fundraising projects.
Maintains appropriate paperwork, files, and acknowledgements pertaining to all assigned gift projects.
Develops periodic reports for the executive director summarizing project activities.
Makes one-on-one and group presentations as required.
Represents the college favorably in community and professional networking events and organizations.
Participates as assigned in other institutional advancement activities.
Responsible for the prioritization of workload, completion of assignments, meeting deadlines and delegating tasks.
Works independently and is accountable for the quality of program development.
Works in a professional and collegial manner with faculty, staff and students in the best interest of the college and the people it serves.
Maintains a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of college students.
Understands and accepts assigned duties in a manner consistent with standards, mission and goals of Pulaski Technical College.
|Minimum Requirements: ||Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional fundraising, public relations, sales, customer service, business development or related work. Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, PowerPoint and database computer skills. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously. |
|Preferred Qualifications: ||Proven special fundraising experience.
Knowledge of Razors Edge fundraising software.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
