The Pulaski Technical College Foundation will honor North Little Rock artist Robin Steves and her husband, the late Tom Steves, Sr., at the annual Business of Art event on April 1.
The event will take place 6:30-9 p.m. in the Campus Center Grand Hall. Faculty and staff can buy tickets in advance at a reduced rate of $30. Proceeds help fund Business and Fine Arts scholarships.
Hors d'oeuvres, desserts and drinks will be served during a reception and silent auction, and special entertainment will be provided by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Quartet. A live art exposition will feature the works of area artists, including Emily Moll, Meredith A. Davies and Kevin Kresse.
Some of the featured auction items include gecko, flamingo and lion original art work from Robin Steves; weekend vacations in Hot Springs and at Beaver Creek Lake in Northwest Arkansas; restaurant gift certificates; a children's section with metal pedal cars, Pink Bliss Studio makeovers, Silver Dollar City tickets; and more than 50 pieces of art valued from $75 to $3,600.
Tickets can be purchased in the PTC Foundation office or by calling Jamie Higgins at (501) 812-2771.
