Update on Thursday
Unless otherwise announced, Pulaski Technical College is scheduled to be open and classes will be in session on Thursday, Feb. 11.
College personnel have worked diligently to remove ice, snow and slush from parking lots and sidewalks; however, some areas may become extremely slick overnight with patches of ice and ice/snow mix. Students, faculty and staff are urged to exercise extreme caution when walking and driving around campus.
The effects of inclement weather fall unevenly on individual faculty, staff and students because road conditions and circumstances vary. Thus, individual decisions are required when hazardous weather conditions exist but the college is officially open.
Faculty, staff and students are asked to exercise caution regarding their individual circumstances.
As always, stay tuned to Little Rock television and radio stations for inclement weather updates. Updates also will be posted on the college Web site at www.pulaskitech.edu.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event that the weather is so severe that the college administration believes that life and property may be in danger, the president of the college may cancel classes until weather conditions improve. When such a decision is made, the news media will be notified. Students should listen for such announcements on Little Rock radio and television stations. If there is no announcement, students should assume the college is open.
Because Pulaski Technical College is a commuter campus, inclement weather has a greater adverse impact than on a residential campus. The effects fall unevenly on individual students as road conditions and circumstances vary. Thus, individual decisions are required when hazardous weather conditions exist but the college is officially open.
