Little Rock CARE Clinic to offer free medical treatment11/17/2009
Arkansans without health insurance can get free medical treatment from 12-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Statehouse Convention Center as part of the Little Rock C.A.R.E. Clinic.
The clinic is operated by the National Association of Free Clinics, a Virginia-based non-profit organization. Arkansas doctors, nurses, lab technicians and other medical professionals will staff the clinic.
Patients can reserve an appointment by calling 1-877-236-7617. Dental care will NOT be provided.
Arkansas Children's Hospital is working with the non-profit to set up a pediatrics area at the Statehouse Convention Center to help provide treatment for children younger than age 6.
