A new art exhibit featuring the work of Arkansas artist Polly Loibner opens today in Ottenheimer Library.

The exhibit - Polly Loibner, Kensett to Chimney Cliff: A Retrospective - opens Oct. 22 and runs through Dec. 14.  A public reception and gallery talk will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Pulaski Technical College Ottenheimer Library, located on the main campus in North Little Rock at 3000 West Scenic Drive.

The exhibit features about 20 works by Loibner, who works in watercolors, charcoal, pastels, ink and dry brush, acrylics, prints and mixed media.

Loibner, affectionately called "Miss Polly" by her fans, was affiliated with the Arkansas Educational Television Network for 14 years, during which she produced 13 art series. The programs were used in elementary schools across the state.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Pulaski Technical College Division of Fine Arts and Humanities, the PTC Foundation and Ottenheimer Library. The exhibit is open during normal library hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
