PTC recruits walkers for Race for the Cure

The Pulaski Technical College Chapter of Arkansas Association for Women in Two-Year Colleges will once again sponsor a team of walkers in the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Monday is the deadline to order team race shirts. For a shirt order form, click here. To see the t-shirt design, click here.

Shirts cost $11 for sizes S-XL; $13 for 2X; $14 for 3X; and $15 for 4X.

Shirt order forms and payment can be submitted at the Business Office, on the second floor of the Campus Center no later than Sept. 17.

This Komen Arkansas race begins at 8 a.m. Oct. 17, in downtown Little Rock.

All campus women are invited to participate in the annual race, which raises money for breast cancer research, diagnostics, screening, treatment, services and education for uninsured or underinsured women.

To register for the race online, visit http://www.komenarkansas.org/. Select "Register," and then click on "Join a Team." (Our team name is Pulaski Technical College.) You do not need a password to register.
