Health, wellness the focus of Lunch -n- Learn

David Rath, the nutrition section chief at the Arkansas Department of Health, will be the guest speaker Tuesday at a Lunch -n- Learn at noon in the Campus Center Food Court.

All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

The event is the first of several activities planned this semester as part of the 2009 Pulaski Technical College Health Challenge.

The college has received a grant from the Arkansas Department of Health to offer health and wellness education and activities to help students, faculty and staff live healthier lifestyles.

A health fair is planned for Feb. 9-10 in the Campus Center foyer from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. A second Lunch-N-Learn on Feb. 27 will feature Dr. Martha Eshleman, instructor of anatomy and physiology at Pulaski Tech.
