Pulaski Technical College will host a Forum on Race on Tuesday, Feb. 5, as part of its Black History month celebration.
The discussion, sponsored by the Cultural Diversity Committee, will take place 6-8 p.m. in the R. J. Wills Lecture Hall, located on the second floor of the Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Panelists include Augusta Farver, Jr., dean of business at Pulaski Technical College;
A question-and-answer session will conclude the panel presentations.
This forum coincides with the Achieving the Dream initiative at Pulaski Tech, which is a multiyear national initiative to help more community college students succeed. This initiative is particularly concerned about students who have traditionally faced the most significant barriers to success, including low-income students and students of color.
