Breaking Ground. Building Hope.
Pulaski Technical College and its community partners will announce an innovative partnership and break ground for the construction of two affordable homes for families in need in North Little Rock Thursday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m.
Pulaski Tech YouthBuild Program and Construction Technology students will build the homes. Financing will be provided by Metropolitan National Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas.
Other partners include Argenta Community Development Corporation, City of North Little Rock, North Little Rock Community Development Agency, North Little Rock Housing Authority, Friday, Eldredge and Clark, and Regions Bank.
The homes will be constructed at 1900/1904 Schaer Street, North Little Rock. The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
Driving directions from downtown North Little Rock: Take Pike Avenue to 19th Street, turn right onto 19th Street, turn left onto Schaer Street.
Driving directions from Interstate 40: Take the Levy exit off Interstate 40 in North Little Rock. Follow the green signs to Pike Avenue. Cross Pershing Boulevard. Turn left onto 19th Street and left onto Schaer Street.
The construction site is located at the corner of 19th and Schaer Streets.
