Lunch & Learn spotlights careers in Sleep Technology

Buddy Marshall, program director with Baptist Health School of Sleep Technology, will be at Pulaski Technical College's main campus on Friday, Nov. 22, to meet and talk with students interested in careers in sleep technology.
The one-hour presentation will begin at noon and again at 1 p.m., in Business Building Room 107. Pizza, fruit and a drink will be provided for each session.
All students interested in health-related careers are invited to attend. Baptist's Sleep Technology program is the only one of its kind in Arkansas.? Students earn 42 credit hours, and Pulaski Tech offers a degree completion program.
Sleep technology, also called Polysomnographic Technology, is a specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. PSG techs operate a variety of electronic monitoring devices, record brain and cardiac activity, breathing, blood oxygen levels, muscle activity, eye movements and other physiological events.
