Pulaski Tech's Big Rock Reading Series continues Friday, Nov. 9, with the third and final event in the series with readings by two graduate students from the University of Arkansas.
J. Camp Brown and Kathleen Heil are both pursuing MFAs and will read from their work beginning at 10 a.m. in the RJ Wills Lecture Hall.
Brown is a poet and mandolinist living in For Smith. He is a 2012 Arkansas Arts Council Fellow, and his poems have appeared in Nashville Review and Prick of the Spindle. Heil, originally from New Orleans, is the 2012 Walton Fellow in Translation at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Her fiction, essays, and poetry have been published, in English and Spanish, in The Barcelona Review, Hermano Cerdo, The Rumpus, PANK, and Pear Noir!, among others. She is currently at work on a novel about art, life and Andy Warhol entitled You Disappoint Me.
