Little Rock pastor to headline PTC black history banquet

C.J. Duvall, Jr., senior pastor of Theressa Hoover United Methodist Church in Little Rock, will be the keynote speaker at Pulaski Technical College's 10th annual Black History banquet on Friday, Feb. 25.

Duvall, a Missouri native, has worked  on numerous international  business assignments, and in 2003, became the first African-American executive vice president of Alltel Corp. in Arkansas. 

The banquet begins at 6 p.m. in the college's Campus Center Grand Hall, located on the main campus at 3000 West Scenic Drive, North Little Rock.

Tickets cost $12 per person and can be purchased in advance by contacting Dianne Butler at (501) 812-2284 or dbutler@pulaskitech.edu.

This theme of this year's Black History banquet is "Making a Difference through Service." Other highlights include the presentation of the college's annual Diversity Award.
