Current Students

Before registering for classes:

  • Current students are encouraged to visit with an advisor to discuss your degree plan and formulate a plan for the upcoming semester(s).

  • Clear any holds that may affect your registration, such as tuition balances, etc. Contact the appropriate office to remove the hold.

  • Apply for Financial Aid by filling out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov

Register for your classes:
  • Current students should register themselves using the MyPTC Portal after creating a plan with an advisor. Current students can register online early using the My PTC Portal. Before registering in a course that requires a pre-requisite, the grade for that course must be posted in the MyPTC Portal. You can view your grades in the MyPTC Portal by clicking on the Campus Connect tab and clicking on the “View Grades” link.

After you register:
  • Check your Account Status in the MyPTC Portal to verify payment due dates. For fall and spring semesters, set up a payment plan if your financial aid has not or will not be in place by the time the payment due date arrives or if you do not qualify for financial aid. For summer terms, you must pay for your courses in full if your financial aid will not be in place by the time the payment due date arrives or if you do not qualify for financial aid.

  • Visit the Campus Bookstore to purchase textbooks.

  • Before the first day of classes, log onto to the My PTC Portal to verify class times and locations.

  • If you have a phone, name, address or e-mail change, update your demographic information here.
