(This process is separate from the financial aid application process.) >back to top Campus visits are scheduled by contacting our Enrollment Coordinator. >back to top We welcome students who have completed 8th grade to take classes with us as high school Concurrent/Dual Enrollment Students. Students in grades nine through 12 may enroll for credit courses by meeting specific criteria. What are the programs that PTC offers? Pulaski Technical College offers credit classes and programs designed for university transfer and career preparation. Students may choose programs and courses that will transfer later to a four-year college or university or pursue a program of technical/occupational education to prepare them to directly enter the job market after just one or two years. >back to top Congratulations on beginning your educational journey at Pulaski Technical College! Pulaski Technical College offers a number of scholarships to first-time degree or certificate seeking students. Our two primary scholarship programs for first-time entering college students are the Presidential Scholarship and the GED Scholarship. >back to top Transcripts may be ordered by mail, by fax, and in person. There is no charge. The Transcript Request Form may be obtained in the Student Services office or online. >back to top All candidates for graduation must submit an application graduation to be sure they have satisfied the requirements for graduation. Graduation applications may be obtained in the Student Services office or online. >back to top You may add or drop classes online each semester by the deadline dates listed in the Academic Calendar through your Campus Connect account. After the initial deadline for drop/add, you may no longer add classes and cannot drop classes online. However, to drop or withdraw by the final semester deadline, fill out and submit the appropriate form to the Student Services office. >back to top Veterans should make application for admission to the college and visit with the VA representative in the Office of Admissions and Records, Campus Center Building 212, prior to enrolling in classes to make application for benefits. >back to top If you are a transfer student, transfer credits are evaluated by the Office of Admissions and Records and added to the permanent record only for students who submit official transcripts. Pulaski Technical College may accept transfer work from regionally accredited institutions. The following policies apply to the granting of transfer credit:
After your official transcript is received and evaluated, it will be listed in your Campus Connect account under “View Comments.” NOTE: In order to be considered official, transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from the institution courses were taken at. >back to top Students should submit address and other data changes to the Office of Admissions and Records or through the PTC Demographic Information Change Form of Campus Connect. Students requesting name changes must provide copies of official documents reflecting name changes to the Student Services office. >back to top Pulaski Technical College offers the Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching and Associate of Science degrees, which are designed to parallel the first two years of course work at a four-year college or university. After studying at Pulaski Tech, students can then transfer to a four-year college or university for the final two years of a baccalaureate degree. The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities.
